April

April. Yeah. And still under construction. Haha... yeah, I've been busy. I made an etsy storeunder the same name and am making this dedicated as much to that as my personal sculpture. Since my friend is helping me with it, and some of them are made by him, he'll be added, too. :)

Hopefully I'll finish this soon.

Oh, yeah, been awhile since I've put anything here. Apologies and all that. At the moment I'm in the UK, sitting next to a dog who's mellowed out considerably after an hour of playing (whereas I'm wiped out) and trying not to freak out that I can't get full episodes of the Daily Show and Colbert Report online over here. No, really, I can't. It actually loads a picture saying that they don't work instead of the video.

Seeing as right now we are on the verge of getting rid of Bush and I'm extremely anxious to find out what kind of president Obama will be, the fact that I can't get my information on politics filtered through humor is a very disconcerting thing and I now feel homesick.

I feel kind of weird about America. Alex doesn't seem to like it much, and considering that they get shown the bigotted morons that are allowed to vote I can understand that. Honestly, I'm tetchy about that country. The politicians are messed up, we care too much about Hollywood, but I'm pretty sure that the overall stupidity is a universal truth not an American thing. I guess the biggest thing is that it feels as though people judge us for the loud stupid- just like they judge all groups. But nobody likes being judged like that, and when I feel homesick for New England it gets kinda sensitive to have someone insulting the country as a whole because it includes that region.

Let's be fair. I'm not judging a country based on the fact the customs officer didn't know about the bus that traveled between terminals, something he should know, don't judge us based on the people we roll our eyes at as well.

There's snow san diego. Not all over or anything, just in the mountains, but there's still snow in a place you wouldn't expect it.

Rayn was able to get ahold of a computer, which is good. For some reason I can't call him so being able to contact him is nice.

I somehow ended up sitting with three aunts and two people I don't know for dinner. Of course its pretty loose seating and when people aren't eating they move around and talk. By the end of the evening I was sitting between two tables, people changed around so much.

1-2-09 Its friday. Doesn't feel like it, though. Feels like a saturday. I'm at my aunts wedding rehearsal and waiting for people to get here so we can get it over with.
I probably shouldve stayed home. I don't care for my relatives much, seeing as they're a bunch of near strangers who think I'm a girl, don't like weddings and really hate travelling. 20/20 hindsight, I guess.
This phone is annoying me.
